You Are Not Your Bad Days
A few weeks ago, I had one of those days.
The kind where nothing goes right.
The kind where every small thing feels like a big thing.
The kind where the voice in your head won’t shut up about all the ways you’re not enough.
And I let it get to me.
I started believing the thoughts.
Started questioning everything.
Started spiraling into the idea that maybe I wasn’t doing enough—that maybe I wasn’t enough.
But then, I remembered something I tell everyone else:
One bad day does not define you.
Not the bad mood.
Not the self-doubt.
Not the overthinking, the frustration, the exhaustion.
You are not your mistakes.
You are not your struggles.
You are not the version of yourself that shows up when things feel heavy.
You are so much more than that.
Because the truth is, bad days will come and go. They always do. But the real you? The one who keeps showing up, keeps trying, keeps pushing forward—that person is still here. That person is still enough.
So if today feels like a struggle, if your thoughts are louder than usual, if you feel like you’re stuck in the mess—take a breath. This is just a moment, not your whole life.
Keep going,
Joanna
